Nathan and Mary, along with their three boys, moved to Grand Forks in February 2008 to plant a new church. Prior to pastoring in Grand Forks, they ministered in Minot, ND and Newell, SD as senior pastors and in Minot, ND as youth pastors. Nathan graduated from Trinity Bible College, Ellendale, ND majoring in Biblical and Ministerial Studies. He was ordained with the North Dakota Assemblies of God in 1991. Nathan and Mary have three sons. Steven, their oldest, resides in Minot, ND and has two young children. Daniel is married to Rebekah and they live in St. Paul, MN. Benjamin, their youngest, is married to Brooke and they live in Minot, ND. Nathan enjoys crossword puzzles, chocolate and biking. Mary enjoys playing classical piano, having coffee with friends, and watching a good movie. As a family they enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and being outdoors.

Douglas and Anna love seeing people grow into the family of God. They serve Freedom Church by overseeing the small groups ministry and by connecting people into the community life of the church. They have two boys, Nehemiah and Ezra, and as a family enjoy the simple things in life: being outdoors, organic food, and prayer!

Josh and Mary love equipping people and developing ministries that impact our local community and world. Josh grew up in Binford, “The biggest little town in North Dakota”—with a population of 200. Mary grew up on a dairy farm in the lake country of central Minnesota. Josh and Mary’s dreams of ministering and connecting with people have come true. They love to see people get healed, refreshed and transformed by the power of God. Josh enjoys disc golf, dreaming about real estate, exploring the wonders of coffee, and talking everything business. Mary enjoys coffee, board games, getting lost in a good mystery novel, and riding horses. Their household consists of four creative children who wildly love life: Judah, Xander, Mercy and Mirabelle, and a Shih-Poo named Charles Xavier Von Whitaker.
